Abstract

The Smart Resistance Hypothesis provides a fresh perspective on bacterial resistance, suggesting that bacteria are not merely reactive entities but active decision-makers. By harnessing our growing understanding of bacterial behavior and leveraging AI technologies, we may be able to outmaneuver bacteria in their own game and develop innovative treatments to combat antibiotic resistance.
